The logan mat cutter i use runs about 50 for the guide and cutting handle.

In many if not most iron on vinyls the vinyl side is matte and the carrier side is shiny.

Also keep in mind that the more you cut in one area the more worn that part of the mat will be so don t be afraid to switch it up.
If your vinyl came on a roll you can cut off a piece to fit on your mat.
